**Role: 3.5 Tonne Box Van Driver Home Delivery**

Job type: Temporary/Ongoing

Shifts
- Monday to Friday - 13:30pm - 1000pm

**Description**:
We are looking to register Van Drivers who have experience and are familiar working as a Driver using 3.5 tonne Box Vans

The role requires a Driver to work as part of a 2-person home delivery crew working with either another driver or drivers mate

You will be delivering goods to general public customers delivering retail goods which include home furnishing products

You can expect to deliver between 10-20 drops per day depending on the run and area delivered

You can expect to see to separate runs per shift due to the amount of goods that can be loaded onto the 3.5t Box Van

As a Driver you will support all aspects of the daily distribution requirements, vehicle checks, delivery, safe parking, calling customer ahead of delivery slot

Supporting house/delivery location, safe unloading of goods, manual handling of goods to customers property and delivery point

Successful completion of all delivery paperwork, keeping the wagon and box trailer clean and tidy, helping in the warehouse to ensure all returns are safely logged back in.

**Requirements**:

- Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
- Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
- Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
- Good command of English both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills
- Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
- Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
- Presentable and professional appearance

Qualifications / training / experience:
You must be able to provide the following;
- Full in date UK DVLA Licence
- Proven experience in previous commercial/professional delivery driver
- 2 work check-able work references

**Pay**

£12.05 per hour PAYE (plus Holiday Pay)
