Shift Booking Co-ordinator

**Role**
- Regular communication with our nurses, carers, and clients
- To answer all incoming telephone calls and deal/direct to the relevant person
- To receive and process all incoming shift requests onto the company database, ensuring correct and accurate entry
- To receive/obtain, and process all incoming nurse and carers availabilities onto the company database, ensuring correct and accurate entry
- Matching and placing the correct nurses and carers into shifts
- Discussing future opportunities for our nurses
- To manage changes in bookings, cancellations/position amendments
- Develop and maintain good communication links and working relationships with nurses
- Maintaining a customer-focused attitude towards duties and responsibilities to ensure that, at all times, the needs of our clients are identified and met
- developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
- preparing staff handbooks;
- Uphold accurate system for tracking staff over a variety of shifts
- Coordinate staff to meet the organization’s requirements
- Monitor absence, cancellation and attendance of employees
- Assist the human resource department with interviews and orientations
- Track a document of all in-service training session
- Conduct competency checks on new and existing employees
- Maintain schedules for rotating staff
- Secure coverage for vacancy shifts
- Work with the payroll manager to verify payroll accuracy
- Determine the need for staff members by understanding each department or client’s hiring requirements
- Provide feedback to human resource managers regarding the results of the screening procedures
- Assist in inducting and training newly selected employees
Participate/organise/lead job fairs and recruitment events- **About you**
- You would ideally have Nursing and carer experience and be Self-motivated and determined
- Thrive to work in a fast-paced and busy office environment
- Enjoy communicating with people and relationship building
- Commitment to working outside of normal office hours (weekends/nights/on-call)
**Salary**: £20,319.00-£20,904.00 per year
