Front of House Receptionist

Employment Type: Temporary (52 weeks) ( From August 2025)

Hours: Full time (Hours to be confirmed) evening and Saturdays work required.

Eighty8 Love To Create is an award winning, vibrant and welcoming barber shop dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience. We pride ourselves on our skilled barbers, friendly atmosphere, and our commitment to making every client feel valued and satisfied. We are currently seeking a Front of House Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, with potential for additional hours beyond the maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:

- Greet and welcome clients warmly as they arrive at the barber shop.
- Making teas or coffees for clients.
- Assist clients with inquiries and provide information about services and products offered.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Cashing up.

Appointment Management:

- Schedule and confirm appointments for clients using our booking system.
- Manage client records and ensure accurate documentation of services rendered.
- Handle walk-in clients and direct them to the appropriate barber.

Administrative Support:

- Process payments and manage transactions accurately.
- Monitor and manage inventory of retail products and supplies. (stock take)

Customer Service:

- Build positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is enjoyable.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Foster a friendly and inviting atmosphere for both clients and staff.

Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with barbers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive work environment.

Must Have
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using computer systems and booking software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for customer service.
