**Graduate Insurance Underwriter
Location: Reigate / hybrid role
Pay: £129.84 Per Day (Umbrella inside IR35)
Contract: 3 Month Contract possible extension**

About the role
You will be supporting the Scheme Underwriting function with administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner. The Scheme Underwriting Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the Scheme Underwriting and Rate Review inboxes as well as setting upnew policies, within agreed Key Service Indicator timescales.
Key responsibilities:

- Support management of:

- the scheme underwriting inbox, logging new business quotation requests and policy changes.
- rate review inbox, logging rate review quotation requests and queries
- policy change inbox, logging existing business changes
- Track and prepare precautionary loaded rate review quotations in line with agreed target dates
- Prepare basic rate review quotations in line with the Scheme Underwriting basis
- Working with the distribution and client service teams to provide administration support on all on-risk schemes including rate reviews.
General duties & tasks:

- Setting up the policies that we win on our administration system, following a checklist to ensure thorough and accurate completion of this task
- As part of a team, ensure the scheme underwriting, rate review and policy change inboxes are kept up to date daily, ready for work items to be assigned to Scheme Underwriters
- Running basic rate review quotations for policies that we hold
- Answering calls on the dedicated rate review contact number

- A knowledge of the UK group risk market.
- Experience in an insurance administration or back office role
