- Retail Banking has a bold ambition deliver compelling and differentiated customer propositions that both meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth
- We’re looking for an experienced and highly collaborative delivery leader who is passionate about customers and has a proven track record of delivering customer projects, working with agile, and across multi-disciplinary teams
- In this high impact role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the go to market customer propositions in line with the Retail Banking customer proposition roadmap and agreed proposition design, delivering long term sustainable value and positive customer outcomes
- You’ll enjoy considerable stakeholder engagement, leading a multi-disciplined agile scrum team and collaborating with Proposition Strategy and Proposition Design Leads, the Customer Journeys, and stakeholders across One Bank to build, optimise, and launch customer propositions

What you’ll do

As our Proposition Scrum Delivery Lead, you’ll deliver aspects of the franchise customer proposition alongside proposition development, the customer journey teams, and One Bank partner teams including Marketing, Brand, and Digital. As such, you’ll deliver long term sustainable customer value and positive customer outcomes in line with customer insights, the franchise strategy, and growth ambitions.

You’ll guide our multidisciplinary teams in delivering impactful, go-to-market customer propositions, and take ownership of planning, delivery, and management. As such, you’ll ensure propositions meet customer needs and deliver continuous improvement in the customer value proposition. You’ll also ensure a seamless handover to journey teams for ongoing management once the proposition is sufficiently embedded and operational.

You’ll also be responsible for:

- Leading the delivery of go to market customer proposition scrums and managing projects in an agile manner, to time and budget
- Acting as a bridge between proposition strategy and design, working with the customer journeys to deliver go to market propositions
- Delivering new or improved products, services, and experiences that ensure the required customer goal and outcomes, driving loyalty and primacy across customers
- Delivering the required propositions to meet customer needs as agreed with the Proposition Leads
- Developing, coaching, and empowering clear, capable, and motivated teams
- Removing any blockers for the team and escalating any that cannot be self-addressed to the Proposition Design and Strategy Leads

The skills you’ll need

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of delivery who is passionate about customers, has experience in an agile manner and has a strong understanding of the digital sector. Experience in the consumer financial services sector is preferred, however, if you have proposition delivery experience in other sectors, we would be happy to hear from you.

You’ll have experience innovating business and customer outcomes through technology, delivering customer centric transformational change, and delivering initiatives that contribute to our purpose while driving positive customer outcomes and value. Product and customer journey experience would be beneficial.

As well as this, you’ll demonstrate:

- An understanding and experience of digital proposition delivery, with a passion for building intuitive, customer-centred solutions, and deep commitment to understanding and serving the needs of our customers
- People leadership and management skills and a proven track record of leading teams to successfully deliver digital projects, ideally within agile environments
- The ability to work collaboratively with, and influence stakeholders and counterparts
- Experience of embracing and role modelling critical Agile capabilities and ways of working
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience of operational and financial planning, and of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations, and risk management
