We are defined by our richness of personality, diversity of background and lifestyle and are now looking for a **Breakfast Waiter** for our ground floor restaurants and bars who will embody our ‘Anything but Standard’ ethos.

**Our spaces**

**Isla Restaurant** starts this Spring/Summer season with small and perfectly formed menu from award-winning author and chef Ixta Belfrage. Showcasing her favorite flavors and dishes - past, present, and future - Ixta's menu draws on her Brazilian and Mexican heritage with Italian influences, and pairs wonderfully with Isla's own modern European menu.

**Double Standard** has become best known for its famous burgers, DJs and boozy brunches all enjoyed in the 70s-inspired bar space or in the sun-soaked terraces.

**The Library Lounge** is our cosiest corner and a hub for our music and cultural programming. Host to a large collection of vintage books playfully curated into categories, from chaos and science to adult relationships, The Library is where guests sit back and relax with coffee or cocktails.

**Your role**

As a **Breakfast Waiter** at The Standard, London, you will become part of an exceptional restaurants team. You will be passionate about service, very well organised with an exceptional working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations, and the order of service.

You will have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host our guests and enhance their experience, so you need to be highly social, upbeat, and friendly; confident and able to handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.

**Do you have what it takes to be a Breakfast Waiter at The Standard**

While we take every detail of design and guest experience seriously, we do not take ourselves too seriously. ‘Standard People’ are at the heart of our brand; dynamic, vivid, and engaging.

Prior experience as a Waiter is essential for this role. You will also have an uncompromised and natural flair for service and be able to build genuine relationships with guests. You will also need
- Prior experience as a Waiter with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, or destination fine dining or high-quality restaurant
- Confident in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks
- Highly social, motivated, and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday-Sunday (a number of our bars and restaurants operate late-night licences)
- Prior experience using squirrel epos is advantageous however full training will be given
- Any relevant qualifications such as WSET are advantageous but not essential
