**Our opportunity**
Thales UK has a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Project Management Office (PMO) as **Project Controller **, as part of the centre of excellence for Air Operations and Weapons in **Belfast.**
With a significant amount of prospect work, it's an exciting time for Thales Belfast and subsequently we are looking to grow the Project Controls Team.
This opportunity would suit individuals either already in the development stages of their career in Project Controls or Project Management (or similar), or individuals with transferable skills and aspirations to pursue a career in Project Controls.
This role is based in Belfast and offers flexibility to work from home with occasional travel to customer sites in the UK.
**About you**:
We are committed to hiring individuals with a “can do” and positive attitude with willingness to learn and improve on skills and knowledge. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment so it organisational skills and an ability to communicate and work with others will be key.
You will have experience of supporting the delivery of successful projects in support of Project Management Teams and have a good understanding of the full business lifecycle management.
You will have experience of the Project Management process (including Change Control, Risk Management and Information Management) as well as knowledge of the project life cycle for complex projects through delivery of Development, Implementation, Closure and Support activity.
You will demonstrate strong negotiation, presentation and report writing skills with proven experience of building strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders together with having excellent organisational, managerial and team working skills.
You will have a positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
