Langdon UK has an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Social Worker** to join their growing team in North London.

**Salary**: £40,000-£45,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Location: Edgware, Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)

**Senior Social Worker** - The Role:
Working as a Senior Social Worker at Langdon you will be a work place practice educator and coach, mentor and supervise the student social workers on placement at Langdon, as well as coach and mentor OT students on placement.

**Senior Social Worker** - Key Responsibilities:

- To produce a comprehensive assessment of need, including identifying appropriate levels of support ensuring that all assessed needs are met accordingly
- To produce relevant robust risk assessments, support plans and transition plans for each new member
- To be responsible for ensuring that members care packages are agreed by local authorities to ensure funding is received
- To work in partnership with the Registered Managers on all new referrals coming into the service and to support the care teams to ensure that all member reviews are conducted in a timely manner and are person centred
