**Central Employment is working with a talented Software Consultancy who are looking to expand their team with a talented Project Manager who has experience working in the software space.**

You’ll be responsible for leafing, planning, and controlling multiple digital projects, while also taking responsibility for the team and it’s budget.

The position is with a local firm based in Newcastle City Centre, and with their newly refurbished office you’ll be working a Hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

**Responsibilities**
- Activity and resource planning.
- Resource management and administration, including updating Forecast, and working with the team to resolve any clashes in resource that may arise.
- Review holiday requests, ensuring sufficient resource is available to meet project deadlines.
- Organising and motivating the project team.
- Controlling time management and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Cost estimation and budget control.
- Managing risks in the project.
- Help to support the wider commercial team.

**Role requirements**
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle models.
- Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices (and the ability to blend techniques to fit a project and business environment).
- A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a given time.
- Experience working with multi-talented teams across the company.
- Proven experience in budgetary control and stakeholder reporting.
- The ability to meet with clients and confidently drive face to face meetings.
- Help to support the wider client services team.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands.
