A leading Engineering business in Snetterton are looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Technician, on a full time permanent basis.

Working out of a modern, state-of-the-art facility, you'll join a team of multi-skilled Technicians, working on a range of different projects, most of which will involve building EV motors and gearboxes.

Responsibilities will include:

- Carry out assembly & dis-assembly of vehicles, EV motors and Gearboxes.
- Changeover of equipment on test rigs.
- Review & discuss changes in design & assembly with wider team.
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications.

Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

- Proven Mechanical Assembly and/or Engineering background.
- Experience with mechanical build processes or maintenance from a variety of platforms, such as factory machinery, road vehicles or aircraft.
- Able to operate tooling to modify parts, as well as fabricate for prototype testing.
- Experience using hand & power tools, such as: drill press, bench and hand grinders, digital measuring tools, torque wrench and pipe benders etc.

Additional qualifications _(alongside the above)_ will also be highly desirable:

- IMI Accreditation in Vehicle Maintenance qualification
- IMI Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness
