**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
- Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist with the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s quality standards.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a **Cook**or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable.
- Food Hygiene level 2 or above qualification is advantageous but not essential.

All successful applicants will undergo an enhanced **DBS check.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
