**£9.50 per hour - Full and Part Time positions available**

We have an amazing opportunity for Support Workers to join our caring and support team at Norton Court House, our specialist longer-term and short break service for young people with a diagnosed Learning Disability and who display challenging behaviour as a result.We offer intensive levels of support and care to help the young people we care for develop social and life skills.

We encourage our young people to attend school during their stay with us, wherever possible, and to join us on fun day trips out to theme parks, the seaside or wherever their interests lie

**As a Residential care Worker you will**:

- A genuine interest in providing the best person centre care possible for our young people
- Build relationships with patients, which are open and two way
- Support patients to undertake their rehabilitation programme
- Establish methods of communication with patients, reducing barriers when necessary
- Assist patients with mealtimes where necessary
- Support with activities of daily living and personal care when needed
- Communication any issues to the clinical team
- Accurately report and/or record work activities
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care sector / mental health would be an advantage but not essential
