**Fleet Planner**
**Hybrid Working (Depot / Office / Remote)**
**This role can be based form the following locations: Banbury, Aylesbury, Birmingham & Marylebone.**

At Chiltern Railways (part of the Arriva Group of companies), we are looking for a Fleet Planner to join our team. As Fleet Planner you be responsible for optimising the short-term plan to deliver maintenance to our fleet. You will be working closely with the Production team to deliver the plans effectively and efficiently.
Collaboration is key in this where you will need build strong relationships within the Integrated Control Centre (ICC) and our maintenance locations and depots to help ensure the delivery of a compliant fleet plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and optimise the fleet maintenance plan to maximise use of all sites, while ensuring high fleet availability.
- Assisting with medium and long-term exams and heavy maintenance - inclusive of exam forecasting - and communicating this to relevant parties including Fleet Control, the Production team, the Technical team and the Materials team.
- Ensure relevant procedures and standards are complied with to ensure safe train operation and a safe working environment in all activities and locations.
- Monitor defects and create plans for rectification at all sites.
- Lead conference calls identifying plans for maintenance and cleaning to all parties.
- Clean, interrogate and analyse data, compiling reports as required.
- Deliver all activities in accordance with business targets.
- Build relationships and work closely with Train Planning, Fleet Controller, Duty Control Manager, Duty Fleet Manager and colleagues based at depots to ensure optimum fleet utilisation and maximising of maintenance opportunities.
