**What is the role?**

As Payroll Administrator your role will primarily be focused on supporting the payroll function of the company. You will assist the Payroll Manager with processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner whilst identifying opportunities to improve processesand get involved in Payroll and Well-being projects.

This role is a full time role, Monday to Friday and offers the opportunity for hybrid working, after a successful probation period.

**How will you do this?**
- Support the Payroll Manager across circa 1100 employees in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands (expansion likely)
- Collaborate with the HR team and utilise the attendance management system on absence and holiday reporting
- Support our employees and 3rd parties with any queries relating to payroll
- Manage on boarding administration including starter paperwork from the point of employee start date
- Calculate statutory calculations for all occasions
- Liaise with managers and HR for payroll information
- Upload various pension scheme contributions to pension providers including NEST and enrol employees to the auto-enrolment scheme.
- Seek and identify opportunities to improve & enhance current processes
- Participation in Payroll and Well-being projects as required

**Essential**
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel (ideal but we can provide training)
- Good communicator at all levels
- Self-motivated learner - able to quickly pick up processes and develop knowledge of the company
- Good time management
- Positive under pressure and works well to deadlines
- A problem solver

**Desirable but not essential**
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in payroll processing start to finish
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment
- Interested in a gaining a payroll qualification (qualification sponsorship will be considered)
