**Salary**: c£35,000

**Summary**:
This role requires an experienced Customs clearance clerk to join their faced paced team in Birmingham to look after the day to day requirements of their food and drink customs clearance clients and therefore you need to be knowledgeable in food import declarationprocedures including CHEDS and Port health requirements for certification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the day to day requirements of customs clearance specifically food and drink
- Producing required certification and carrying out import declaration procedures including CHEDS
- Use of ASM Sequoia, CDS, CNS Compass, Destin8, AS400 and IPAFFS would be beneficial.

Key Skills/Experience:

- 2 years + experience in a similar role
- Able to handle shipments from start to finish
- Good knowledge of the requirements for Food and beverage import customs clearance
- Able to handle all aspects of Customs Clearance
- Good software knowledge - ASM Sequoia, CDS, CNS Compass, Destin8, AS400, APAFFS

Able to use your own initiative with good communication and interpersonal skills
