School Librarian

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a School Librarian to work at one of our client schools on the Wirral from September. This is a long-term, ongoing role covering sickness and will be on a full-time basis. Expected hourly rate for this position is between £11 and £11.65 per hour.

**The role**:
The School Librarian will be expected to take a highly creative and active role in the management, development and promotion of the wide range of services provided by the school library resource centre in addition to the day-to-day administration. They will work closely with teachers from all faculties to ensure the library contributes effectively to the delivery of the curriculum and support pupils to develop skills necessary to make effective use of resources.

**The essentials**:

- Experience working within a school or public library would be advantageous
- A passion for English and literature
- Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
- Full and complete 10 year CV history
- Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
- Legal right to work in the UK
