** EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant
** Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school with excellent Early Years provision
** Long-term role, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis
** EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role, starting immediately
** £400 - £450 per week
The EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
As a EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will primarily be supporting a reception aged pupil who is non-verbal and has complex learning needs. The pupil is currently working in the school’s nursery, and has severe communication difficulties, so it is importantthat you can try and build a strong relationship through play, nurture, and Makaton. This EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role is Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30.
The EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant:
To be eligible for this EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant position, you must have a Level 3 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant qualification, and have experience supporting non-verbal children. If you come from a support worker background, you must be able to demonstratea good understanding of safeguarding procedures and experience working with complex needs. Ideally, you will be able to communicate with Makaton.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ primary school located in the Birmingham ward of Hodge Hill caters for children aged 3 - 11. Behaviour is generally good and support for students and staff is excellent.
