**About the company**:
CORE is a creative web design and development company based in Cardiff Bay. We have been in business for just over 20 years. Our clients include a broad range of businesses and organisations, from small independents to recognised brands. We have mainly operatedremotely since March 2020, however, we're now gradually returning to our studio in Cardiff Bay, offering a hybrid work model to give our team added flexibility and improved work-life balance.

**About the role**:
You'll be as comfortable working on pixel-perfect front-ends as you are working on setting up content management systems and working with frameworks. The day-to-day tools/frameworks we use include ES6/JavaScript, React, Next.js, Wordpress (mainly Roots.ioframework), Foundation, Bootstrap and Ruby/Ruby on Rails.

**Essential skills**:

- Front and back-end web development experience (commercial projects)
- Version control using Git based workflows
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail.

**Desirable skills**:

- Cloud server/infrastructure setup and maintenance (we host almost all of the work we produce)
- Advanced Wordpress/plugin development (some experience of the Roots.io framework would be ideal)
- JAM stack experience (client and server)
- Ruby/RoR.
