We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our residential children's home supporting both male and female residents aged between 8-18 years of age.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Support Worker role...
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to children in the home
- Ensuring the effective educational and social development of each young person.
- Contributing to the formation, review and implementation of both care plans and risk assessments.
- Support - and sometimes stepping in for - both the deputy and registered manager.
- Help to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in accordance with Ofsted regulations.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is accurate and up to date.
The ideal person for the Senior Support Worker role will have:

- At least 1 years' experience working with children in a care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A level 3 diploma in children and young people in residential or a qualification equivalent to this.
- Additional on-call responsibilities
