**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping, slicing, and marinating as required.
- Follow food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Support the cooking team by preparing dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Participate in catering events by assisting with meal preparation and service as needed.
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
