**We are looking for the veterinary nurses of the future**

Our veterinary care assistants are responsible for the following - to clean, disinfect and maintain to a high standard all the animal kennels, isolation, food and preparation, laundry, storage and treatment facilities and general cleaning of the veterinary practice, assist our reception team with client care and other tasks as requested.

Experience in a similar role or a proven interest in working with animals is preferred.

This position is 40 hours per week; with various shifts including early morning, weekends and out of hours shifts and bank holidays as we are a busy hospital that operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Flexibility in this role is essential.

This position meets national minimum apprenticeship wage.

**Salary**: From £10,004.80 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
As an Animal Hospital we have high levels of cleanliness already but we have risk assessed fully and increased our cleaning schedule. Receptionists wear face coverings and are sat behind a protective screen. There are optional face visors available too.
