Our primary SEN school provides a welcoming and supportive environment for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. We focus on creating enriching experiences that promote both academic achievement and personal well-being.

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Create Engaging PE Lessons**: Plan and deliver sports sessions designed to meet the varying physical and emotional needs of young students with SEND.
- **Encourage Participation**: Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive social interactions, ensuring that all students feel included and motivated to participate.
- **Supportive Collaboration**: Work closely with teachers and teaching assistants to integrate sports activities into each child’s personalised learning plan.
- **Track Development**: Monitor students’ physical and social progress, adapting activities and offering feedback to ensure every child makes steady improvements.
- **Inclusive Environment**: Build a positive, safe, and inclusive space where children can enjoy physical activity regardless of their skill levels or behavioural challenges.

Qualifications:

- **Coaching Experience**: Relevant coaching qualifications and a passion for working with primary-aged children.
- **SEN Experience**: Familiarity with supporting children with SEN, particularly in an educational or sports setting, is highly beneficial.
- **Patience & Understanding**: Strong empathy and patience to work with children who may display challenging behaviours or need extra emotional support.
- **Communication Skills**: Ability to engage and motivate young children, working effectively with staff and parents to support each child’s growth.

Pay: £96.00-£110.00 per day
