Page Personnel are currently partnering with a leading leisure and sport business, based in Chester, who are looking for a HR Generalist to join their team. Reporting into the Group Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for supporting the groupfunction in all HR related matters.

**Description**

The HR Generalist will be responsible for:

- Ensuring all HR frameworks, policies, and procedures are up to date, in accordance with relevant law and legislation
- Assisting in the management of the end to end recruitment process
- Leading the onboarding process, ensuring its effectiveness
- Collaborating with the wider HR team on engagement surveys, prioritising positive improvement
- Providing assistance with the new hire review and appraisal process
- Assisting in reward and recognition activities
- Providing advice and guidance to local HR teams
- Assisting in all areas of HR administration, including the management of the HRIS
- Undertaking project work as required
- Training new starters
- Actively participating in HR meetings
- Producing HR related reports
- Any other ad hoc duties as required

**Profile**

The successful HR Generalist will have:

- A proven track record within a similar role
- CIPD L5 or above (desirable)
- IT literate, ideally with knowledge of a HRIS
- An ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a strong problem solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine desire to learn and progress
