We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Finance Business Partner**to join Slater and Gordon on a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is a forward-looking finance role dedicated to supporting the leadership team, influencing and challenging colleagues, working with the Director to help understand any risks and providing support with long term strategic planning. **Responsibilities to include:
- Lead the SLS business in preparation of robust financial business planning.
- Be the finance representative in business meetings where decisions are being made about SLS headcount/resourcing, commercial intake delivery, IT investment and other key touchpoints for SLS.
- Support the Practice Directors with their resourcing models
- Work with the Deputy FD, plus Finance Systems and Group Finance, to develop reporting and data sources.

**About You:
- Advanced Excel skills handling very large data sets
- Proven ability to influence and challenge effectively
- Openly encourages the sharing of information, judging when, with whom, and what to communicate, whilst maintaining confidentiality where necessary
- Setting realistic deadlines and putting contingency plans in place if they are likely to miss deadline.
- Organise and prioritise workload appropriately
