We are looking for a Senior Manager, with extensive general accountancy practice experience, to join a Chartered Accountancy firm in Warwickshire.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing high quality compliance services for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities as the Senior Manager will include:

- Full accountability for the provision of accounting services including corporate and special services for a portfolio of clients
- Managing a portfolio of clients, developing client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services
- Introducing new clients to the practice
- Offering confident, accurate and reliable accounting knowledge when interacting with clients, presenting ideas and implementing strategies
- Assist with marketing activities of the business, attending local networking events and actively raising the profile of the company
- Corporate taxation and finance
- Provision of projections and forecasting information
- Consolidations
- Managing budgets and compliance processes
- Liaising with clients for debt recovery
- Client accounts - reviewing and finalising client’s records
- Tax compliance - reviewing completed VAT return forms, self-assessment tax returns and business and partnership tax returns
- Company Secretarial - reviewing submitted Annual Returns and Companies House forms
- Ensure office compliance with professional standards / requirements
- Undertake recruitment, selection, training and development of direct reports
- Actively encourage a culture of continuous development

What we’re looking for:

- Extensive experience in a general accountancy practice, ideally in a team leader / supervisory position
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- IT literate
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate numerical skills
- Proactive team player
- Willingness to develop and learn
