Machinist & Test Technician

Ipswich

£12.50 - £15 per hour depending on experience

This global technology business based on the outskirts of Ipswich are looking for a Machinist & Test Technician to work within their high tech manufacturing facility. Their products are deployed in over 170 countries serving more than one third of the worldspopulation.

Required:

- C&G, NVQ or Diploma within mechanical engineering related discipline
- Previous experience working as a manual miller/turner or machinist
- Able to read from technical drawings
- Self-motivated, meticulous, and good at working in a team
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft package: Excel, Word, Outlook)

Rolling 12 month assignments. The assignment is renewed annually based on performance, and it is expected that the person will join the team on a long term basis (it is expected that this assignment will continue indefinitely).
