**Purpose of Post**:To carry out various Goods Inwards, Packing, Dispatch and Driving operations, by employing efficient and effective working practices. Recognised as the competent person for all warehouse operations.

Responsible for general housekeeping and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse, whilst ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are maintained. Operate and maintain warehouse lifting & handling equipment.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Operation of all equipment necessary to operate warehouse safely, effectively and efficiently.
- Preparation, Packing and Completion of all customer orders.
- Receive and process goods inwards.
- Pick. Unload, Label and store warehouse stock.
- Operate Safely in line with Company Health & Safety policy.
- Maintain high standard of housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.
- Work to recognised procedures in order to achieve customer requirements and deadlines.
- Carry out various warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.
- Read and interpret all goods inwards and dispatch documentation.
- Operate and maintain forklift.
- Report any stock discrepancies.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Adopt a flexible approach to multi - tasking, in order to meet customer deadlines.
- Provide out of hours cover as and when required to address unexpected business situations.
- Cover for Drivers as required.
- Operate Safely in line with company policy.

**Qualifications, essential & regulatory**: Working knowledge and experience gained in a Warehouse environment essential.

General competence in Math's & English.

Forklift License (Reach & Counterbalance).

Drivers License essential.

Computer literate.

Manual Handling Certificate.

**Salary**: £10.25 per hour
