**TEMPORARY & PERMANENT PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OPERATORS**

Based in Dumfries, Southwest Scotland, Gates (U.K.) Ltd is a major international company specialising in the production of power transmission belts for the automotive and industrial markets. Our continuing success has resulted in this exciting opportunity.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**

We are looking for ambitious, forward-thinking individuals to join our team. **Working full-time from our Dumfries facility on various shift patterns.**We are offering opportunities for both temporary and permanent Production & Warehouse Operator roles. In this position, you will report to the Shift Coordinators and Production Manager, supporting the manufacturing and warehousing of quality products. You will work in line with Standard Working Practices and contribute to meeting daily production targets.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Operating equipment and processes per Standard Working Practices and Manufacturing Operating Procedures.
- Keeping work areas clean and organised throughout and at the end of shifts.
- Accurately updating Hourly Production records.
- Reporting hazardous practices, equipment, or near-miss incidents.
- Meeting quality and productivity targets as part of a team.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Required Experience**:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment or working shifts is advantageous but not essential.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong manual dexterity and numeracy skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
