Net Team Lead

As the.NET Team Lead, you will be expected to focus on the leadership and management of the.NET development team, as well as being a delivery role of one of the more senior developers within your team. You will be expected to work closely with all other teams within the company as applicable to the demands of the business. You should be highly knowledgeable within the language(s) and frameworks used within your Development Team, and have a good understanding of the underlying coding principles / language issues / platform quirks, and should know how to do most things within this environment.

You will write clean, maintainable, and well documented code. You will be able to follow a requirements document, and be able to carry out all tasks on it, you will also be able to create detailed requirements documents from client requests. You are expected to raise any issues and concerns promptly with all relevant parties, as well as offering solutions to them.

There will be heavy emphasis on you to supervise, mentor and give instruction to less experienced colleagues in all aspects of current and correct operational practice. You will be expected to help define and refine processes to ensure that they are as up to date and correct as possible. You will be responsible for your team achieving the targets set as a collective.

You will perform all administerial tasks needed within your team, along with all management tasks. You will be expected to complete regular 1-2-1’s with all team members, ensuring that you discover potential avenues of progression, and experience for all team members.

**Soft Skills**:

- Demonstrated **experience** in a **Lead Developer** or similar role.
- Proficiency with **DevOps or similar** for project and team management.
- Proven ability in **line management**, including setting and managing Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Excellent mentoring skills, with a strong focus on supporting and developing junior developers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of fostering collaboration across the team.

- Salary to be agreed based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
