Our offices are based at Poundbury and Piddlehinton, Dorchester.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our company at the moment of explosive growth. This exciting new role would suit someone that is highly organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced friendly environment.

**Who we are**:
We are one of the UK’s top 3 solar PV and battery installers. Now owned by Good Energy we are looking to help all of the UK benefit from renewable and green energy as quickly as possible. This sector is booming and we have the plan and resources to make the most of the opportunity.

**What will keep you challenged**:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will need to be an excellent communicator and thrive in a key role procuring and assembling systems for our installations teams. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for stock and ad-hoc purchasing, all warehouse functions and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.

Typical day-to-day duties include:

- Procure and manage stock
- Drive stock efficiencies
- Process goods-in
- Load and unload deliveries
- Process returned and quarantined stock
- Quality check and rotate stock
- Pick and pack system orders
- Carry out regular stock checks
- Support installation teams with loading vehicles
- Deliver ad-hoc items to site
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse ensuring safety at all times

**What you’ll bring**:

- Reliability and punctuality
- Confidence to control stock and warehouse
- A passion to learn and develop
- Be a strong team player
- A good work ethic
- Forklift licence is desirable
- A full clean driving licence (essential)

**What to expect working with our team**:

- 4½ Day working week (finishing at 11.30am each Friday)
- £3k contribution to your solar system (after 3 years full-time service)
- Overtime for approved additional hours worked
- 28 days holiday (pro-rata) which includes bank holidays

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

COVID Considerations: Hand sanitiser is available throughout the office, and provided in company vehicles. Masks can be worn when on-site, and visitors to the office are kept to a minimum. Non-customer-facing employees can work remotely where appropriate.
