Explore, discover, share and inspire at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel_** **Position Summary** As a Goods Receiver at St Pancras you will ensure that all deliveries whether food or non-food items are correctly received and stored in line with Health & Safety regulations & brand standard policies. Working closely with the Food Buyer you will be accepting goods and deliveries for all departments and distributing them appropriately. You will check the quality, prices, weights and specification of all deliveries to make sure they meet our requirements whilst reporting all discrepancies to the Back of House Manager and the Executive Head Chef. You will be responsible for the organisation and cleanliness of your areas including walk in fridges, dry store and corridors. **You’ll need to know your stuff**: **General Kitchen** - To adhere to and assist in the compliance of Health and Safety e.g. COSHH & Risk Assessments. - Ensure that all Fire regulations are maintained by making sure that the Fire Exits are not blocked. - Be familiar with and practice the safe handling, care and storage of all equipment. - To ensure that all maintenance issues have been recorded correctly, and that all mechanical and manual equipment are used as instructed - Report any machine defects to the maintenance team and ensures that the correct action is taken. - Ensure all goods received by the Loading Bay are of the correct quality, quantity and description as per Purchase Order - Ensure all Delivery Notes are signed and time stamped by receiver and delivery temperature recorded as appropriate, and copies are forwarded to the chefs. - To record any damaged goods received on Delivery Note and report to Head Chef. - To notify, or deliver goods received to the various departments as appropriate. - To ensure relevant procedures are carried out at all times in relation to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Security, Fire & Emergencies procedures and regulations. - To ensure that the Loading Bay is kept clean, tidy and in hygienic conditions at all times. **Cleanliness & Food Hygiene and Safety** - Ensure your team follow and comply with sanitation and cleaning procedures and pest control guidelines, reporting pest control issues to appropriate personnel. - Ensure all associates on shift are using equipment and utensils in the correct manner and hygienically, following laid down hygiene measures - Prepare all foods in accordance with HACCP procedures and monitor the production and service of these foods daily - Ensure that all documentation relating to food safety, hygiene, sanitising, HACCP, temperature control, cleaning/disinfecting/sanitising is completed on shift and that any discrepancies are noted and flagged to the Executive sous Chef. - Ensure flawless compliance with local & national government and company food safety, health and hygiene procedures. **Perks you deserve**: - Free St Pancras Experience including plus one. - Free Access to the Gym and spa. - Free meals at work - Free uniform & dry-cleaning service. - Free enrolment of Perks at Work - Access to unlimited deals of retailers and more. - Discount of 50% in any of the St Pancras outlets. - Marriott Discount Card enabling to benefits from hotel room, gift shops and F&B across 130 countries. - Travel Loan. - 20 days holiday increasing with service. - Annual Performance Review pay. - Cycle to work scheme. - Recommend a Friend scheme £500 - £800. - Pension & Life Assurance. - Employee Assistant Program. - Comprehensive Training and Development program. - Awards and recognition celebrations and many more. - Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
