A highly innovative start-up business operating within the energy storage market space is currently recruiting for a Chemistry Lab Technician to join its team, based in Central London. As Chemistry Lab Technician, you will play a key role in supporting theR&D team working on redox flow battery technology, coupled with the ability to use a range of testing techniques.

**Chemistry Lab Technician responsibilities**
- Support R&D team in daily routine tasks including blending, testing and collecting technical data - which will then be reported back to management.
- Conduct and analyse experiments.
- Operate in line with health and safety practices within the laboratory.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and external partners.
- Produce technical reports and can relay across to key stakeholders.
- Assist with designing test equipment when required.

**Chemistry Lab Technician requirements**
- Degree qualification in Chemistry, Materials Science or Chemical Engineering
- Experience operating as a Laboratory Technician within an industrial chemistry environment would be beneficial, but not an essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay technical data/information to key stakeholders.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and to be open-minded and cooperative.
