**Job Title: Healthcare Assistant**
**Location: Manchester, City Centre**
**Hourly Rate: £11.00**
**Full-Time Temporary**
**Shift Basis: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (Some flexibility required)**
You must be able to commit to full-time hours on a long term basis
**About the company**
Kelly Services are working in partnership with an industry leading services provider in viral challenge studies and laboratory services. They support product development for customers in infectious and respiratory therapeutics. Their Experience and know-howfrom over 50 challenge studies is applied to ensure effective study design and excellent service delivery for their customers.

**About your job role**
This role is to provide support to the multidisciplinary team in the planning and execution of daily activities including panel screening, study specific screening, Quarantine and follow-up.
- Providing receptionist and administrative duties for arriving volunteers
- Performing blood sampling
- Perform clinical assessments taking vital signs, ECG's, venepuncture & spirometry as well as sample and data collections
- Dealing with audit file preparation, database entry and general correspondence
- Liaising with internal and external laboratories
- Screening suitable volunteers including panel screening consent
- Generating appointments for volunteers
- Ensuring case notes and associated documents are complete and accurate

**Requirements**:

- Basic Life Support
- Vaccinated against Hepatitis B due to the nature of contact with volunteers
- Experience of working within UK Healthcare
- GCSE Grade A-C Maths and English (Or equivalent)
- Demonstrated, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to listen, clarify, identify solutions and agree actions
- Good IT skills (Word and Excel or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards
- Ability to work independently and within the team
- Clinical Care knowledge and Biological Science degree would be beneficial

**Additional Information**
This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to extend/become a FTC in the future
