Academics Southampton support a variety of Primary schools across Southampton in securing incredible, experienced teachers for daily cover, short/long term contracts as well as permenant positions.

- Upper KS2 Teacher - Southampton
- You need to be a UK qualified teacher (Have UK QTS), with experience teaching in Primary School. You should be confident in supporting students and be able to effectively encourage their development and prompt them to achieve their highest potential.
Ideally you will have recent experience teaching these year groups and have good knowledge and understanding of the current UK curriculum. This role is open to teachers with experience teaching Year 5 and 6 but not limited to this
If you are a Primary Teacher and most of your experience lies in other year groups, but you have the ambition and desire to try out these year groups specifically then get in touch.
As a Primary Teacher for these year groups, you should have good classroom management for varied levels of learner and be able to adapt your teaching style to suit the class, you should be able to use your behaviour management skills effectively and be confidentinfront of the class. You will also be supporting children for their SATS so ideally, you will have experience with this.

You will need an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to submit one to be considered to work in UK schools.
