**What we expect from you**
The primary focus of this role is to ensure the accuracy of all company owned inventory, the associated flow of goods, and to ensure it is accurately reflected in all related systems.
**Key responsibilities...**
- Responsible for organising stock counts and any associated reporting, actioning any corrective actions identified and liaising with Line Manager and Finance to ensure the correct adjustments are made in a timely manner and signed off in line with company policy.
- Monitoring warehouse stock rotation and implementing corrective actions and process changes, when required.
- Managing the write off, disposal, batch processes in conjunction with Finance and compliance against VMD standards and ensuring stock expiry dates are compliant to the timeframes required.
- In conjunction with both the Warehouse Shift Supervisor and Shift Administrator, regularly review the flow of goods within the warehouse and adjust storage and working practices to ensure we remain both efficient and fit for purpose.
- Implement and manage a cycle count process that ensures best practice is followed.
- Create an audit process that identifies critical points in our processes where stock accuracy can be improved
- Review and audit returned items and work alongside internal departments to reduce occurrences.
- Build and issue timely/accurate reporting to the business.
- Stock control ERP super user.
- Responsible for ensuring work instructions are in place to ensure internal compliance to process. Where they do not exist, create, implement, distribute and train out to staff.
- Ensuring all inventory and locations are managed and correctly labelled. Working with Supply Chain to ensure supplier compliance on incoming goods labelling.
- Carrying out any other tasks that can reasonably be expected to fall under the remit of this role, as requested by management.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experienced Stock Controller (3+ years), or in-depth knowledge of Stock Management and the associated processes involved.
- Experience of working with an ERP system ideally with Khaos Control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
