**This role is split across two hospital sites**: the Princess Royal University hospital and the Denmark Hill site. The dietetic assistant will work closely with the dietitians to support the running of the department. Please refer to the job description and personal specifications for more details.

Administrative responsibilities
- General administrative tasks
- Ordering of general materials required for practice and monitoring stock
- Room bookings for meetings or ad-hoc clinics
- Coordination of meetings and associated administrative tasks

Assisting with stock management of enteral tube feeds and oral nutritional supplements within the hospital
- Liaison with enteral feeding and feed distribution companies with direction from the dietetic team
- Arranging update sessions, meetings with company reps and nutrition related activities
- Ensuring departmental information is up to date on the Intranet/website as directed by the dietetic clinical leadership team

Clinical responsibilities
- Facilitation of online group education sessions
- Working closely with dietitians to support with the administrative tasks associated with home enteral feeding discharges
- Championing the improvement of patient dining such as meal service support for the elderly care wards
- Inputting of food diaries into electronic nutritional analysis packages on behalf of the dietitian

Support in audit and development of clinical services
- Potential for up-skilling to review non-complex nutritional support plans or triage priority for dietetic assessment in certain patient cohort
