We are seeking a Finance Assistant to assist with day-to-day finance activities in our busy Finance Department in Winsford. This will be a varied role encompassing a variety of finance and admin tasks.
**The Role - IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE**
The role will entail:
- Supporting our accounts team with various administrative tasks
- Liaising with other local teams of different departments
- Processing cash receipts
- Processing purchase invoices
- Filing and photocopying
- Answering the office phone and dealing with general queries
- Stepping up to any other challenges required, commensurate with the role
**The Person**:
- Have excellent communication & financial administration skills
- Be organised, hardworking, honest & enthusiastic
- Have a hands-on, proactive attitude & the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
- Be positive & have an analytical mind
- Be reliable, collaborative & trustworthy
- Be computer literate with good Excel skills (European Computer Driving Licence / Microsoft user level)
- Live within 5-6 miles of Winsford
**Highly Desirable**
- Demonstrable experience of supporting a busy Finance Department with administrative tasks
- Experience using Sage
- Full driving licence and use of a car for travel to work
Required experience:
- Experience working in an Accounts department is desirable however a demonstrable appetite for finance and working with numbers is essential
