Business Support Administrator

As an integral member of our IT Department, you will play a pivotal role in delivering essential business and operational support.
Your contributions will ensure smooth daily operations and propel our strategic objectives forward. Your expertise will be the driving force behind our high service standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and enhanced team productivity.
By helping to streamline our processes, you will not only boost efficiency but also make a significant impact on our organisation's success and growth.
**What you'll be doing day to day**:
- Work close with the IT Director, to ensure critical strategic projects are on track
- Support the IT Director at internal and/or contractor meetings, produce notes and follow up papers and ensure actions are followed up
- Liaise with Department Heads and other colleagues on the IT Director’s behalf
- Support the drafting of strategic and financial reports
- Manage the procurement, purchase order and asset management processes
- Liaise with Business Support staff, technical Partners and Directors in specialist service areas such as Finance, Marketing People and the PMO
- Attends departmental meetings, taking minutes and reviewing actions
**About you**:
- Experience of working in a professional environment
- Proven experience of procurement, purchase order and asset management processes
- Have a good understanding of operations and business processes and reflecting these through workflows and systems
- Extensive experience in using a range of software, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Experience of influencing stakeholders and working collaboratively
