Blue Bear Transport are a rapidly growing transport company based near Lutterworth.

We are seeking to recruit a Transport Administrator reporting to the Transport Manager. The role delivers an outstanding and efficient customer focussed logistics co-ordination service.

The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to:

- Use hauliers booking systems to book UK transport.
- Organise transportation to meet customer demands.
- Be involved with service improvements and introduce ways to reduce costings.
- Ensure all delivery / collection schedules are in order.
- Coordinate customer deliveries.
- Following up with customers to ensure deliveries have been made, keeping them up to date with any delays/issues.
- Ensure the live time booking system is always kept up to date.
- Starting the early shift from 6am but looking for flexibility should the business need.
- Correctly brief and debrief drivers.
- Answer the telephone and assist with any enquiries.
- Ensure all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated.
- Attend any training/development sessions when required as part of your own career/personal development.
- Any other duties as may be assigned to meet the varying needs of the business.
- Reconcile weekly fuel reports and fuel cards for vehicles.
- Plan the drivers rota for the coming days & week(s).

Preferred Skills / Experience
- IT Literate and proficient with Microsoft packages.
- Ability to multitask a number of jobs.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Previous experience in a Logistics office administration role.
- Logistic knowledge essential.
- Warehouse experience / knowledge preferable.
- Customer service focused.
- Calm and methodical approach to work with the ability to work to deadlines.
- A demonstrable track record of excellent organisational, analytical, prioritisation and problem solving skills, e.g. able to establish a clear structure to your work to maximise the best use of your time.
- Professional writing style.
- Experience in communicating at different levels across an organisation and the ability to adapt tone and style to suit the audience.
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Adaptable approach to work/ training.
- Conscientious, flexible and reliable.

Starting wage is flexible depending on experience and there is opportunity for bonus payments.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lutterworth, LE17 6HY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
