Torque Consulting is working with a leading food distribution company that delivers fresh produce to businesses across the North Cumbria region. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dispatcher to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage stock control and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks with produce
- Monitor and optimise delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Liaise with other teams and departments to ensure efficient and effective operations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a dispatcher or similar role in the logistics industry
- Good understanding of stock control and inventory management principles
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management and dispatch operations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
