**Description of Role/Duties**:
To deliver CPI Safety Interventions training and ensure that all staff undertake relevant initial and refresher courses, that ensure services are compliant with the Restraint Reduction Network Standards. To assist in making a safe environment for the individuals we support and staff within the services. To enable staff to develop knowledge and skills in the prevention and management of challenging behaviour.

You will deliver CPI safety intervention training in a safe and educative learning environment and attend regular CPI team meetings. There is also a requirement to attend annual instructor’s refresher training and support the Restraint Reduction Practitioner to record physical intervention strategies in individuals care plans/Access and report any issues to the Registered Manager, Head of Care and Clinical Team.

You will need to have a working knowledge of the service users PBSP plans, basic support needs and be able to support the staffing team in promoting and utilising PBSP, ensuring that quality of life approaches are the foundation of person-centred support.

**Essential criteria**:

- Experience of delivering training
- Hold a Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care with the willingness to work towards CPI Instructor Course
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle as you will occasionally be required to travel to deliver training
- Knowledge of pro-active strategies and interventions
- Basic IT skills
