**Data Governance Lead**

**Fully Remote (Occasional Site Visit) - London**

Our Global Healthcare client are looking for a Data Governance Lead to join the company on a fully remote basis with occasional travel to site. You will have demonstrated a strong background in Data Governance and have experience working on DataProtection or GDPR Projects. The role is an ideal fit for an individual with a strong emphasis on business interaction skills in equal measure to technical skills & knowledge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Data Management Director and key business stakeholders to evolve the vision for how the company can best govern and manage its data assets.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, communicating and enforcing master data processes.
- Implement a Data Risk Framework to effectively manage enterprise data risk.
- Deep experience in designing, delivering and operating Data Governance capabilities in complex organisations across multiple markets, functions, and data domains.
- Hands-on experience with Data Governance organisational design and operations, developing supporting tools/artefacts/capabilities required for effective Data Governance, e.g., roles & responsibilities, policies, standards, processes, procedures, data qualitymanagement, KPI definition and reporting, metadata management (cataloguing, data lineage etc).
- Designing and operating multi-tiered Data Governance forums with a variety of stakeholders.
- Supporting the management of Enterprise Data Risk against identified KRIs.
- Understanding of regulatory considerations for Data Governance in a multi-market environment across a variety of data sources.
- A proven track record of strong delivery and the ability to lead/influence others.
- Must be able to successfully manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to engage and communicate across all levels of the organisation.
