We are currently seeking a skilled Administrator with experience in payroll and bookkeeping to join our team at the prestigious Building Research Establishment in Watford.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator with experience in payroll and bookkeeping to support our administrative operations at the Building Research Establishment. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain precise records of employee hours, wages, and deductions
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
- Handle general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Provide assistance to other team members as required
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in payroll administration and bookkeeping beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing payroll and accounting practices
