Our client, a Global Financial Company, are recruiting for an IFRS Senior Manager to join their Accounting and Policy Advisory Group, based in London and on a permanent basis.
The IFRS Senior Manager are responsible for supporting complex transactions across the European business.
The business is complex with both physical and derivative trading products. As the volumes and complexity increase through continued growth and expansion your ability to provide in-depth technical accounting skills and be a key business partner are critical.
**Responsibilities include;**
- You will manage the implementation of new and complex products and transactions from a finance perspective.
- Provide advice on the correct IFRS and GAAP accounting treatment for the businesses for their respective transactions
- Responsible for establishing clear methodologies for accounting for structured trades throughout their lives.
- We will also look to you to coordinating the finance response to New Products and transactions, implementing the most appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions for their whole life cycle.
- You will interact with Valuation, Regulatory, Taxation and other departments to identify co-dependencies and relationships.
