**Position**: Mobile School Cook (Catering Supervisor)

**Location**:Various Manchester locations

**Hours**: 30 Hours per week

**Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday, 30hrs daily. Flexible Times to be discussed - between the hours 08:00 - 15:00

**Salary**:£12.90 Per Hour (+ mileage)

**Must have valid driving licence and access to own vehicle. **The mobile supervisor will also be required to travel out of this area due to daily business requirements.

**Job Introduction**

As a Mobile Cook/ Catering Supervisor you will have access to your own vehicle to **flexibly **support any of our catering teams across your area in every aspect of running a school kitchen; including preparing, cooking and serving school meals. The mobile supervisor will also be required to travel out of this area due to daily business requirements.

**What you’ll do**:

- Prepare, cook and serve food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned processes and procedures at all times
- Monitoring the quality of the food and service provided, achieving good quality product and service on time and within budget
- Be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
- Monitor and advise on stock usage; rotating stock, ensuring food stocks don’t run out and ordering stock as required
- Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
- Take the lead in running a kitchen as and when requested to do so by the business

**Requirements**:
Catering / Kitchen experience for high volumes is required for this role and experience in team leading and/or a supervisory position would be advantageous

You should also have a Level 2 (or higher) Food certification and a strong knowledge of allergen awareness

Access to your own vehicle is required with mileage paid for by the Company
