**Strategic Lead - Accommodation Finding Service**
Birmingham City Council is seeking an enthusiastic strategic leader who wants to make a positive difference to people’s lives. We are looking for an ambitious individual who has good knowledge of Birmingham’s Private Rented Sector market.
The main purpose of this role is to lead on maximising growth of Private Rented Sector (PRS) properties and alternative housing solutions by building on networks and developing exceptional relationships with PRS landlords, Housing Associations and other housing providers.
We are looking for an inspirational leader who is passionate about preventing homelessness and changing people’s lives and has:
- considerable experience of working at a senior level in a sales/marketing or business development role.
- possess strong engagement, negotiation and influencing skills to secure suitable accommodation solutions for homeless households
- significant experience of successfully developing relationships and working in partnership with a range of housing providers.
- extensive experience in preparing and presenting policy documents and reports.
- knowledge of relevant Private Rented Sector legislation
