**Customer Collections Advisor**

Joining Drax as a Customer Collections Advisor, you’ll be responsible for the collection of outstanding balances, questioning the customers to understand their ability to pay, informing customers of the consequences of non-payment and negotiating mutually agreeable payment terms

**About the role**

Working in an account management / collections environment, you’ll be managing inbound and outbound calls to business customers in a professional and calm manner. Proactively identify reasons for arrears, you’ll adapt collection technique to negotiate mutually agreeable payment terms.
Attention to detail will be key, accurately noting accounts with actions taken and raising customer queries to the correct department to maintain customer satisfaction and company reputation.
Adhering to Drax’ processes, you’ll be compliant with business, industry and departmental policies and regulations, meeting objectives and ensuring KPI's are met on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis.
You’ll engage in training to implement skills to identify the cause of the outstanding balance, ensuring they are resolved or escalate the account to the appropriate pathway.

**About you**

You’ll have experience in seeking win-win outcomes both for the customer and the business through negotiation and influencing skills. Using you strong communication skills, you’ll quickly build a picture of a customer’s circumstances through effective questioning and active listening.
You’ll thrive in a fast paced and frequently changing, target driven environment, be competent in MS word, Outlook and MS excel and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
You’ll Ideally come from a collections background, however, using your transferable skills from sales or complaints environments, you’ll learn everything needed from our fantastic team
