We are currently recruiting for Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Operatives on permanent contracts. You will be part of a two-person Repair & Maintenance Team, carrying out essential maintenance on our water networks.

**What you’ll be doing as a Repair & Maintenance Operative**

You will be responsible for repair and maintenance across our South London network, with occasional travel to North London when required.

Ensuring that all work undertaken is completed to the correct safety and quality standards.
- Base location - Epsom KT17 1BW
- Working pattern: 45 hours a week on a shift pattern, including a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.

**What you should bring to the role**

**The must-haves (essential criteria) for this opportunity include**:

- Previous experience/training in a manual handling environment.
- You must be able to meet the physical demands of the role with the ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Use your initiative and problem-solve where repairs are required.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical messages in a simple way.
- Have a can-do, positive attitude, remaining open to new ideas and change.
- Be self-motivated and confident in completing tasks to the best of your ability
- Valid UK drivers’ licence.

**Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring**:

- Be competent in using computers and other IT equipment.
- Advantageous if you have a Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification, an EUSR Water Hygiene card, Service Avoidance L2 and/or a First Aid qualification.
