Scunthorpe, United Kingdom North Lincolnshire Council Full time

To take a strategic responsibility, under the leadership of the Education Inclusion Lead Officer (SEND), for the development and management of the statutory assessment process for children and young people aged 0 - 25. To take responsibility for the identification and robust tracking of young people who struggle to progress to sustainable education, employment or training. So that those who are not participating, or are NEET, can be identified early, enabling early intervention to prevent the risk of long term disengagement and the risk of adult unemployment, low wages and health issues.
Applicants should be passionate around making a difference and strive to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
We are collectively organised around the people and place of North Lincolnshire. Together we ensure that our communities are safe, well, prosperous and connected. We are ambitious for North Lincolnshire, we want our area to be the #BestPlace for our residents by being the #BestCouncil we can be. We achieve this through living our values - equality of opportunity, excellence, integrity and self-responsibility - in all that we do.
