Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within ENABLE Scotland by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes - whatever they may be

Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

ENABLE Scotland creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The 30 hour contract is based on a split between the following individuals:
Let us introduce you to **David**:
David is a young gentlemen who enjoys watching TV, playing games and spending time with family. David is very family orientated and enjoys a having a joke. A typical day could be supporting David to ensure all his needs are being met, long-term staff will support David to access events and activities he enjoys out with the family home. In his downtime, David enjoys watching movies, playing video games and spending time with his siblings. Sadly, it’s not always possible for David to enjoy what many people would consider these ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.

Let us introduce you to **Jessica**:
Jessica is a young lady who is friendly and fun. She really enjoys sensory stimulation and really enjoys sound and touch and will spend time through-out the day enjoying her sensory items. Jessica also loves Disney and will often watch Disney DVD's while getting her nails painted. Jessica is a very happy, caring young lady who requires full support to live a fulfilled life.
